THE CENTER FOR ARCHAEOLOGICAL SCIENCES INTERDISCIPLINARY UNDERGRADUATE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM IN ARCHAEOLOGICAL SCIENCES Elective Courses: Elective courses offer more detailed studies in soils, geography, geology, and early cultures. Take two courses from this group to total no more than 6 semester hours. Courses listed in the Required Course section may count toward the Elective requirement as long as the Required Course requirement has been met. No course can count twice.
